2nd Best Player in CoD Vanguard Explains Why He Used Wallhacks After Cheat Scandal

A Twitch streamer is ranked #2 by Call of Duty: Vanguard, then he gets caught with cheats. It is now known how he explains his wallhacks, but the reason is not completely convincing. MyMMO tells you more.

In just 3 seconds, a Twitch streamer lost everything. pplehx is live on Twitch playing CoD Vanguard – the game in which he is ranked #2.

Then he briefly has technical problems. His stream stutters for 3 seconds. Apparently his image recording program loses its bearings for a moment and doesn’t know what to film. The streamer complains about the stuttering, but his viewers see more than they should:

Crystal clear wallhacks can be seen in the stream for 3 seconds. Spectators finally see what the player sees, namely red-outlined enemies, even through walls.

3 seconds on Twitch destroys everything – 2nd best player in CoD Vanguard turns out to be a cheater

The new ranked mode in CoD Vanguard has a tangible cheat scandal. The streamer then deletes his Twitter and Twitch accounts. But pictures are circulating on social media showing the cheater explaining his wallhacks.

“I didn’t know how to turn it off”

A picture from a Twitch chat is circulating on Twitter. It shows the cheater pplehx reacting to a user.

pplehx apparently thought he only started wallhacking after he was #2 on the leaderboard. He was then asked why he needed cheats when he was already so high up.

The explanation raises eyebrows: “I have [die Wallhacks] used for the diamond camo and didn’t know how to turn it off again.”

The second best player in the world is said to have used solid wallhacks to help unlock the weapon skins. Then he simply didn’t know how to turn off the cheats and apparently just accepted them with a shrug.

pplehx had probably hidden this serious mistake well and knowingly, because he never mentioned, explained or asked for help about the “unwanted” advantage before the fatal twitch clip.

It is noticeable: In the clip that shows the cheats, he does not use the diamond camo at all. His primary weapon even has the default skin. Maybe also because the Diamond skins aren’t necessarily pretty.

For this explanation, pplehx is laughed at on social media. FPS pro Ian “Enable” Wyatt doesn’t even need to explain why this excuse is ridiculous – he just repeats it and garnishes the statement with 3 emoji:

In the meantime, the in-game leaderboard has been updated. Where pplehx was still in second place yesterday, he has now completely disappeared:

pplehx no longer appears in the rankings.

The story of the Wallhack user in the top 2 caused a lot of discussion in the community. Some were shocked that someone so prominent could go unnoticed for so long. Others, on the other hand, weren’t the least bit surprised – in fact, they think there could be more cheaters in the top 10.

Because pplehx’s story isn’t the only cheater incident in CoD Vanguard in recent weeks. One player even pointed a camera directly at his wallhacks:

CoD professional wants to show the world that he doesn’t cheat – shows his cheats
