Apple TV App: Which TVs are supported?

What used to be integrated into iTunes can now be found in the Apple TV app. We’re talking about Apple’s video app. This includes, for example, series, films and all videos that you have downloaded via iTunes. Apple TV app: What can the app do?
But first of all, for a brief understanding, we explain what the Apple TV app can do at all. We have already mentioned the area with your already purchased films and series. You can find it within the app in the media library. In addition, the app offers a large selection of films and series that you can either rent or buy. The money for this ends up with Apple via the payment method that you have linked to your Apple ID.
Rented and purchased videos
If you rent a video, it is initially activated for your Apple ID. Once you watch it, you have 48 hours to watch the movie or series as many times as you like. Of course, purchased films and series are permanently transferred to your media library.
Apple TV app: Integrated services and libraries
The range of Apple TV is also mixed. What is special about this is that, if you wish, you can link existing accounts from other online libraries such as Amazon Prime and Disney+ to the Apple TV app and stream via it. However, the linking of Netflix is not yet possible.

Apple TV+: Extra service, content and costs
The use of the Apple TV app is basically free of charge. You only have to load or rent the content for a fee. Speaking of paid: the manufacturer from Cupertino has been offering since 2019 AppleTV+ also offers an expanded streaming service. In addition to the latest films and series, you will also find exclusive video content that is only streamed there. Apple is jumping on the train that Netflix and Amazon Prime are already driving with their originals.
In case you’re interested, Apple TV+ offers a seven-day trial subscription. If you then decide to do so, the service costs EUR 4.99 per month. Apple TV+ can then be canceled monthly up to one day before the end of the period.
What devices does the Apple TV app run on?
Now let’s get down to business: How do you enjoy your films and series? Basically, you watch them on your Apple devices, such as the iPad, iPhone or Mac. You also stream them via your Apple TV-Box and watch them relaxed on your TV. Another possibility: You stream your videos via Apple’s transmission standard AirPlay.
Basically, devices from various brands are supported, such as Sony and LG. The app also runs on streaming devices and consoles, such as Amazon’s Fire TV, PlayStation, Xbox, Roku or Google TV.
