Borussia Dortmund: Police investigate after attack on deaf fan club – Bundesliga
This disgusting attack will have an aftermath!
In the run-up to the Bundesliga game between Stuttgart and BVB (0:2) on April 8, VfB chaotics attacked the Dortmund deaf fan club “DEAF BVB Fanclub ev” (BILD reported). A deaf fan was beaten by several previously unknown people, the banner was also said to have been stolen and supporters robbed.
Now the criminal police have started investigations after the attacked supervisor has filed a complaint. A spokesman for the Stuttgart police confirmed this when asked by dpa.
The fan was on his way to the arena with a group of deaf people from the “DEAF BVB Fanclub ev” when the incident happened. The “DEAF BVB Fanclub ev” posted a photo on Instagram showing the wounded fan pointing his bloodied face at the camera.
It is written: “Sick world! Why is someone from Stuttgart attacking our members? Our popular banner, which is everywhere, has been stolen.”
According to the Stuttgarter, the fan projects of both clubs had already contacted each other.
The deaf fan club is a regular at BVB. The banner that reads ‘Black and Yellow for a lifetime’ can also be seen at home and away games. The word “deaf” comes from English and means translated deaf. It is Borussia Dortmund’s first deaf fan club.
Hopefully the cowardly attackers will get their just punishment after all…
