Eintracht expands stadium

Eintracht Frankfurt will soon be playing all home games in front of an even bigger crowd. As the club from the financial metropolis reports, the capacity of the Deutsche Bank Park will be increased by 11,000 standing places. The necessary building permit was granted to the Bundesliga club.
The capacity thus reaches the 60,000 mark. Board spokesman Axel Hellmann is looking forward to the expansion of the homestead: “We fought for a number of years to get standing room and, 18 years ago, we made sure that there was still standing room when we were planning the stadium. Now we have achieved another big goal.”
