Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn, who went to Ukraine to shoot a documentary about the beginning of Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, was photographed this time on the Polish border.
Posting on his social media account, Penn said, “After leaving our car on the side of the road, me and my two colleagues walked for miles to the Polish border. “Almost all the cars in this photo are carrying only women and children, many of them have no luggage and the only valuable thing they have is their car.”
A source told Reuters that Penn had safely exited Ukraine and declined to answer further questions about his whereabouts.

In November 2021, Penn visited the Ukrainian army positions near the Donetsk region to work on a documentary he prepared about Russia’s activities in the region.
