Samsung is working on the battery problem of its smartwatches. With the fourth generation of the Galaxy Watch, users had to accept a reduced battery life. The reason: the switch from Tizen to Google’s Wear OS. The new Galaxy Watch series should now compensate for this deficiency. At least that’s what the popular platform is now reporting.”Sam Mobile”, dedicated to any Samsung related topic. There should be larger batteries, one model is even touted as a true game changer and is said to have an extra large battery installed.

Biggest battery so far: the runtime of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is supposed to be that strong

So far it looks like this with the batteries of the 4-series: The Galaxy Watch 4* and the 4 Classic come with a capacity of 361 mAh and 247 mAh respectively. With the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, on the other hand, the capacity will probably be increased to a total of 572 mAh. This means that the smartwatch can last for several days with intensive use.

Other possible details about the new smartwatch from Samsung are not yet known. Whether the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will actually come onto the market with such a mega battery remains to be seen. As always, planning and developing a new feature does not mean implementing it. This is also the “Sam Mobile” insider to consider.

When is the fifth generation of the Galaxy Watch coming out?

It can currently be assumed that the Galaxy Watch 5 will be presented in the third quarter of this year. It is not yet known when Samsung’s latest smartwatch will be launched. However, what is very likely: the electronics company will present the latest Bluetooth headphones at the same time – the Galaxy Buds Live.
