Last minute: Statement from Iran: Our citizens must leave Ukraine

Iran’s official agency, IRNA, released a written statement made by the Public Relations Office of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the statement, “Iranian citizens in the cities and villages of Ukraine should immediately leave the country through the borders of Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.” statements were included.

Reminding the previous call, the statement pointed out that although some Iranian students and residents left the country, some of them did not leave Ukraine yet.

On February 24, when Russia’s attacks on Ukraine began, the Iranian Embassy in Kyiv called on all Iranian citizens living in Ukraine to leave the country by any means possible.
