Therefore, Apple users should be aware of the patent applications that have now surfaced regarding several types of gaming controllers for the iPhone and iPad be happy.

Apple has three concepts for iPhone gamepads

In this case, there are three concepts in the drawer at Apple. The first idea shows a controller pair, which in connection with an iPhone is visually reminiscent of a Nintendo Switch. A similar solution is already available Razer Kishi (short test), which connects to the iPhone via Lightning. Apple’s idea, on the other hand, seems detached from a physical connection and could instead rely on Bluetooth so that the same controller can also be used on the iPad.

As is so often the case, a patent application is not a concrete indication that such a product will appear in the near future. In fact, these are not the first patents from Apple in this direction. However, the patents listed in this article are pending in Europe.
