Meanwhile, Canadian Citizenship and Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced that they have launched two new immigration programs for Ukrainians fleeing the Russia-Ukraine war.

At a press conference held online, Minister Fraser announced that the first of the applications will allow an unlimited number of Ukrainians to come to Canada temporarily with an expedited emergency visa.

Stating that with the other program, Ukrainians with relatives in Canada will be able to come to the country through family reunification and they will be granted permanent residence, Fraser said, “Canada is ready to welcome Ukrainians fleeing Vladimir Putin’s war, and there is no limit to the number of applications we can accept.” he said.

Thanks to these two programs announced by the Canadian Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, all Ukrainians will be able to come to Canada.

NEW MILITARY AID TO UKRAINE

On the other hand, Canadian Minister of National Defense Anita Anand announced that the Canadian Armed Forces will send 4,500 M72 rocket launchers and 7,500 grenades to Ukraine, in addition to the shipment of military weapons aid.

“These weapons will be transported to the region as quickly and safely as possible,” said Minister Anand. said.

Canada also sent $1 million in financial aid to Ukraine to purchase high-resolution modern satellite imagery.
