Verona Pooth: Son Diego: expulsion from the elite boarding school

The young man is the pride of his parents. San Diego Pooth, 18 years old, around 1.93 meters tall and impressively muscular, is so named because his mom found the name “cool and manly and unique”. But the cool guy just got into serious trouble. TV star’s son Verona (53) and the Düsseldorf entrepreneur Franjo Pooth (52) was expelled late last week from the elite academy in the USA, where he has been attending for almost a year to pursue his dream of becoming a professional golfer.
In the video above we show you Diego’s room in the Sport Academy, from which he has now been kicked out!
According to BUNTE information, the young man is still allowed to graduate from high school, but is no longer allowed to enter the campus. He is not allowed to take part in the golf training sessions that are so important to him, nor is he allowed to live on the academy premises. It’s like being kicked out of elite boarding school. He has to graduate there in six weeks. But the only way he can prepare for that is with online classes, in a promptly rented apartment, which his parents now have to pay in addition to the $90,000 (€82,000) tuition for the year.
San Diego’s school is considered an absolute cadre for athletes
What just happened? The IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is regarded as the absolute training center for athletes. In December, San Diego told BUNTE how hard drill at the academy is for a boy as sheltered as he is. He said: “I live with another golfer in almost 15 square meters. Each of us has a bunk bed, each with a desk underneath. We are woken up at 6.20 a.m., then have a shower, which is not exactly my roommate’s forte. From 7 to Golf practice is at 12:00 p.m. and then school lessons from 12:30 p.m. Then we go to the driving range to hit balls and then we do our homework. All 1,300 students have to be in their rooms by 10:00 p.m. I’ve only been allowed to do weekends since left the site shortly before the end of the year.” That’s the problem.
Verona’s manager: “The boys only ate a burger there. It’s a trifle!”
As Verona Pooths Management arranged on behalf of the moderator BUNTE, San Diego celebrated with five friends in a restaurant after a golf tournament and was not back at school in time at 9 p.m. Verona’s manager Britta Friedrich: “The boys only ate a burger there. It’s a trifle! But the academy wants to protect their children.” A trifle with great effect. Such escapades are severely punished at a private academy like the IMG. Unauthorized departure from the campus and late arrival will be punished as stated in the statutes. Management: “San Diego was exempted from the golf program and he now has an apartment next to the golf course.”
Liberated is probably not quite right. It would require it to be voluntary, but it is a severe punishment. The academy reacts particularly harshly, especially when there are repeated abnormalities – despite the parents who can afford the school fees. In such cases, warnings have often been given beforehand.
