But now there is a setback! According to BILD information, San Diego was suspended from training for six weeks. He is accused of leaving the hotel without permission with three other golfers (all 18 years old) during a three-day tournament in Tampa to go to a burger joint.
His mother Verona to BILD: “Of course I understand that 1,300 students cannot do what they want. However, I think the decision is very strict. ”She did not scold her son either. “I’m glad that Diego is not a nerd, but has rough edges.”
She finds the decision of the boarding school exaggerated. Verona: “We were very surprised by what we think was a far too strict decision. But we also knew in advance that many other golfers had already been released from golf lessons, partly because of what we considered to be trifles.”
Verona will not fly to him. “I raised him to deal with problems on his own. He already did that and looked for a small apartment and organized his own sports and golf program.”
The most important thing is that San Diego can still graduate from high school at the end of May. Verona with a smile: “Only the appetite for burgers has passed.”
